Flake / chip
Decorative color flakes broadcast into the base coat. The most popular garage finish: textured, forgiving and good at hiding dust between cleanings.

RESIDENTIAL EPOXY FLOORING
Flake, metallic, solid-color and quartz epoxy for garages, patios, home gyms, workshops and casitas, finished with a UV-stable topcoat made for Arizona sun.
AZF Experts is a licensed Arizona flooring contractor based in Buckeye. Most of our work is commercial, and we bring that same preparation and process to homes across the Phoenix metro and the rest of the state.
Homeowners call us for:

Decorative color flakes broadcast into the base coat. The most popular garage finish: textured, forgiving and good at hiding dust between cleanings.
Pigmented epoxy with a flowing, high-gloss, one-of-a-kind look. Popular for home gyms, casitas and show garages.
A clean, uniform color for workshops, laundry rooms and utility spaces.
Colored quartz broadcast for a textured, hard-wearing surface where traction matters.
Many coating problems, like peeling, bubbling or hot-tire lifting, start before the first coat goes down. A coating can only hold as well as the surface underneath it.
That is why every AZF Experts installation starts with assessment and mechanical preparation. We grind the concrete to open the surface so the coating can bond, then repair cracks, chips and damaged areas before priming. Rolling a coating over an unprepared slab is faster, but it is a common reason garage floors fail early.

Standard epoxy can yellow when sunlight hits it, and an open garage door or an uncovered patio gets plenty of sun. We finish systems with a UV-stable polyaspartic or urethane topcoat to protect the color.
Tires that come in off summer roads can soften and lift a weak coating. Proper grinding, the right system and a full cure before you park help the floor stand up to it.
A sealed, seamless floor doesn’t hold dust the way bare concrete does. After a storm it sweeps, mops or blows clean.
Flake and quartz broadcasts add texture, and texture can be adjusted in the topcoat. Tell us how the space is used, especially outdoors or near pools, and we’ll recommend a finish to match.
HOW IT WORKS
No drawings needed. Photos of your floor are a great place to start.
Tell us about the space, how you use it and the look you want.
We look at the existing concrete, take measurements and agree on the system, preparation and scope with you.
Mechanical grinding opens the surface, and cracks and damaged areas are repaired.
Primer, base coat and flake, metallic, solid or quartz layers go down, then the UV-stable topcoat.
Cure times depend on the products and conditions. We’ll tell you when the floor is ready for foot traffic and for vehicles.

Standard epoxy can yellow under UV light. AZF Experts finishes garage and patio systems with a UV-stable polyaspartic or urethane topcoat to help the floor keep its color.
Hot-tire pickup usually comes from poor surface preparation, a thin coating or parking too soon. We grind and repair the concrete first, choose a system suited to vehicles and let you know when it is ready to park on.
It depends on how you use the space. Flake is the most popular for garages because it is textured and hides dust. Metallic gives a high-gloss custom look, solid color suits workshops, and quartz adds texture and wear resistance.
Yes. We coat patios and walkways and finish them with a UV-stable topcoat. Whether a system suits exterior use depends on the full system, so we recommend one for your patio’s sun exposure and use.
